Stef Note: My favourite thing about Alta Bistro is that everytime I go, the menu is different. I’m never bored, it’s always interesting. Their cocktails are to die for and don’t forget about dessert!

Stef Note: My favourite food is Araxi’s fois gras parfait. It’s a usually an add-on to the Prix Fixe menu, but so worth it.

Bar Oso

Stef Note: The ambiance is chic and warm. It’s my go-to spot for late aprés or an appetizer + cocktail before an evening event. Sit at the bar to watch all of the action or cozy up in a booth and stay a while!
Special: $24 charcuterie boards and deals on wine, sangria, and gin and tonics from Sunday to Thursday, starting April 14th.
Quattro

Stef Note: Quattro is my favourite restaurant for high quality Italian comfort cuisine. Everyone says to try the tiramisu, (which is fabulous), but I can’t get over the cheesecake. That is coming from a New Yorker, so you know it’s good. Also, if the butternut squash ravioli is on as a special – get that.
Special: $44 four-course meal available Sunday-Friday until May 16th.
Rim Rock

Stef Note: The Fairmont is an experience in and of itself, and The Grill Room is its star. The food is always amazing. They have Wagyu on the menu, and it’s fabulous, but I personally find the bison steak more interesting and a little easier on the wallet.

Stef Note: This is my go-to for more casual dining and delicious comfort food. I personally think that Caramba also has the best burger in town.

Cure Lounge

Stef Note: Another great place for a burger. I love this space for more casual dining with an atmosphere. If it’s warm enough, take advantage of the patio overlooking Nita lake. The pear mushroom flatbread is one of my favourites.

Dubh Linn Gate Irish Pub
